Wie ons is

Blokaspaai is 'n blokraai-speletjie vir iOS en Android, uitgegee deur Peter Furstenberg ("ons"). Ons is die verantwoordelike party vir jou persoonlike inligting kragtens die Wet op die Beskerming van Persoonlike Inligting (POPIA), en Peter Furstenberg is die inligtingsbeampte.

Watter inligting ons insamel

Jou rekening: 'n speler-ID wat vir jou geskep word wanneer jy die eerste keer speel. As jy met Apple Game Center, Google Play Games of 'n Unity-rekening aanmeld, word daardie rekening se ID aan jou speler-ID gekoppel.
Jou naam: die naam wat jy in Instellings invul. Ons gebruik dit net in die spel.
Jou spel: die letters wat jy in elke blokraai invul, jou toetse, sterretjies en bonusse.
Blokkies en boeke: jou blokkie-balans, die geskiedenis van blokkies wat jy verdien en gebruik het, en die boeke wat jy besit.
Aankope: wanneer jy iets in die App Store of Google Play koop, stuur die winkel vir ons 'n bewys van die aankoop. Ons kontroleer dit en koppel dit aan jou speler-ID. Ons sien nooit jou kaart- of betalingsbesonderhede nie.
Data van die vorige weergawe: as jy jou vordering uit die ou Blokaspaai-app oorgedra het, stoor ons dit saam met jou ander speldata.
Speldata vir analise, net as jy instem: hoe jy die spel speel, soos watter blokraaie jy speel en hoe lank, asook jou toesteltipe, bedryfstelsel en land. Ons vra eers toestemming, en jy kan dit enige tyd in Instellings afskakel.
Ongelukverslae: as die app ineenstort, kan die spelenjin (Unity) 'n verslag met basiese toestelinligting stuur sodat die fout reggemaak kan word.

Ons samel nie jou e-posadres, ligging, kontakte of foto's in nie. Daar is geen advertensies in Blokaspaai nie, ons volg jou nie oor ander apps en webwerwe nie, en ons verkoop nooit jou inligting nie.

Waarom ons dit gebruik

Om die spel te laat werk: jou vordering en blokkies te bewaar, aankope te kontroleer en jou boeke beskikbaar te hou, ook op 'n nuwe toestel. Om die spel te verbeter (net met jou toestemming). Om bedrog met aankope te voorkom, en om aan die wet te voldoen.

Wie dit vir ons verwerk, en waar

Unity Technologies (rekeninge, stoor, blokkies en aankope, en analise met jou toestemming).
Google Firebase (spelvordering, die boekkatalogus en aanmelding).
Apple en Google hanteer betalings, en Game Center en Google Play Games se aanmelding, volgens hulle eie privaatheidsbeleide.

Hierdie dienste stoor inligting op bedieners buite Suid-Afrika, onder meer in die Verenigde State en Europa. Hulle is kontraktueel daartoe verbind om dit volgens erkende databeskermingstandaarde te beskerm, soos POPIA (artikel 72) vereis.

Hoe lank ons dit hou

Ons hou jou inligting solank jy 'n rekening het. As jy jou rekening verwyder, vee ons jou naam, speler-ID, vordering, blokkies, boeke, blokkie-geskiedenis en analise-data uit. Twee rekords hou ons: 'n rekord van elke aankoop, wat verhoed dat 'n aankoop twee keer geëis word en wat ons vir rekordhouding nodig het, en 'n rekord dat jou ou data reeds oorgedra is. Ons hou dit net so lank as wat dit vir daardie doeleindes nodig is.

Jou regte

Jy mag vra om die persoonlike inligting wat ons oor jou het te sien, om dit reg te stel en om dit te laat uitvee. Jy kan jou naam self in Instellings verander, en jou rekening in die app verwyder (Instellings → Verwyder my rekening; sien blokaspaai.com/verwyder-rekening). Jy kan ook enige tyd vir ons skryf by info@blokaspaai.com.

As jy nie tevrede is met hoe ons jou inligting hanteer nie, kan jy 'n klagte by die Inligtingsreguleerder indien: inforegulator.org.za, POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za.

Kinders

Blokaspaai is vir volwassenes bedoel en is nie op kinders onder 18 gemik nie. Ons samel nie doelbewus inligting oor kinders in nie. As jy dink 'n kind het 'n rekening, skryf vir ons en ons sal dit verwyder.

Sekuriteit

Jou inligting word oor geënkripteerde verbindings gestuur. Net jy en ons bedieners kan jou speldata lees en skryf, en net ons bedieners kan jou blokkies, boeke en aankope verander.

Veranderinge

As ons hierdie beleid verander, plaas ons die nuwe weergawe hier met 'n nuwe datum. Groot veranderinge sal ons ook in die app aankondig.

Who we are

Blokaspaai is a crossword game for iOS and Android, published by Peter Furstenberg ("we"). We are the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and Peter Furstenberg is the information officer.

What we collect

Your account: a player ID created for you when you first play. If you sign in with Apple Game Center, Google Play Games or a Unity account, that account's ID is linked to your player ID.
Your name: the name you enter in Settings. We only use it in the game.
Your game: the letters you fill in for each puzzle, your checks, stars and bonuses.
Blokkies and books: your blokkie balance, the history of blokkies you earned and spent, and the books you own.
Purchases: when you buy something in the App Store or Google Play, the store sends us proof of the purchase. We verify it and link it to your player ID. We never see your card or payment details.
Data from the previous version: if you transferred your progress from the old Blokaspaai app, we keep it with your other game data.
Gameplay data for analytics, only if you agree: how you play the game, such as which puzzles you play and for how long, plus your device type, operating system and country. We ask for your consent first, and you can switch it off at any time in Settings.
Crash reports: if the app crashes, the game engine (Unity) may send a report with basic device information so the fault can be fixed.

We do not collect your email address, location, contacts or photos. There are no ads in Blokaspaai, we do not track you across other apps and websites, and we never sell your information.

Why we use it

To make the game work: to keep your progress and blokkies, verify purchases and keep your books available, also on a new device. To improve the game (only with your consent). To prevent purchase fraud, and to comply with the law.

Who processes it for us, and where

Unity Technologies (accounts, storage, blokkies and purchases, and analytics with your consent).
Google Firebase (game progress, the book catalogue and sign-in).
Apple and Google handle payments, and Game Center and Google Play Games sign-in, under their own privacy policies.

These services store information on servers outside South Africa, including in the United States and Europe. They are contractually bound to protect it to recognised data protection standards, as POPIA (section 72) requires.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, we erase your name, player ID, progress, blokkies, books, blokkie history and analytics data. We keep two records: a record of each purchase, which stops a purchase being claimed twice and which we need for record-keeping, and a record that your old data has already been transferred. We keep these only for as long as those purposes require.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it and to have it erased. You can change your name yourself in Settings, and delete your account in the app (Settings → Verwyder my rekening; see blokaspaai.com/verwyder-rekening). You can also write to us at any time at info@blokaspaai.com.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator: inforegulator.org.za, POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za.

Children

Blokaspaai is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information about children. If you believe a child has an account, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

Your information is sent over encrypted connections. Only you and our servers can read and write your game data, and only our servers can change your blokkies, books and purchases.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date. We will also announce major changes in the app.
